Luke Moore, MD
Dr. Moore is the newest addition to NV Eye Surgery and brings his expertise as a Board Certified cataract and glaucoma specialist to the Las Vegas area. Dr. Moore completed medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated near the top of his class. Next, he spent four years of residency at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where he completed an internship year in internal medicine and then trained in the medical and surgical care of the eye. Dr. Moore was appointed chief resident of the program during his final year of residency training. Following his rigorous residency program, Dr. Moore spent the next year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he completed a fellowship in the surgical and medical management of glaucoma.
During his fellowship, Dr. Moore trained with some of the nation’s top experts and learned the most up-to-date glaucoma surgical techniques, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
Prior to coming to the Las Vegas area Dr. Moore spent time practicing in the U.S. territory of Guam. There he was able to take care of patients with a wide array of eye conditions and was able to bring his surgical expertise and clinical knowledge to the island.
Outside of work Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with his family. He speaks Tagalog and is able to converse and convey medical information comfortably with the Filipino patients.
